Delete Your RentMeter Account

How to request complete deletion of your RentMeter user account and associated property management records.

1. Delete Your Account Directly in the App

You can permanently delete your RentMeter account and all associated records directly inside the mobile application:

For your protection, RentMeter may ask you to verify your registered mobile number using an OTP before completing the deletion.

If you have uninstalled the app or cannot access your phone, you can submit an account deletion request by email.

Send an email to rentmeterapp@gmail.com with the subject line:

Account Deletion Request: RentMeter

Please include the following details in your message:

•Your registered mobile phone number
•Your account email address, if linked
•A clear confirmation that you want your RentMeter account and data permanently removed

Our team will verify your ownership of the account before processing the request. Verified requests are processed within 30 days.

Once your deletion request is verified and processed:

Data Removal: RentMeter will permanently delete or anonymize your personal account data, including your property layouts, room numbers, tenant contact lists, payment history, and profile records.

Legal and Security Retentions: Limited operational logs or transaction receipts may be retained only where strictly necessary for legal compliance, tax records, fraud prevention, or resolving outstanding disputes under Indian law.

Active Subscriptions Notice: Deleting your RentMeter account does not automatically cancel an active paid subscription managed through Google Play or external app stores. Please cancel auto-renewal in your app store subscriptions before deleting your account.
